The basic audio idea
When slightly different tones are presented separately to the left and right ears, a listener can perceive a rhythmic difference called a binaural beat. Holosync incorporates this kind of stereo audio into meditation soundtracks.
The Holosync routine
Centerpointe instructs Awakening Prologue users to begin with The Dive and later add Immersion. The program is designed around regular listening rather than occasional use.
Brainwave language
Centerpointe describes beta, alpha, theta and delta patterns in its explanation of Holosync. Associations between brain rhythms and states such as alertness, relaxation and sleep are real areas of neuroscience, but that does not validate every downstream marketing claim made for a commercial audio program.
What evidence can and cannot tell you
Research on binaural beats and auditory stimulation is heterogeneous: studies use different frequencies, outcomes and protocols. A plausible mechanism or change in an EEG measure is not the same thing as proof of broad improvements in health, personality or life outcomes.
